さっぽろレインボープライドの開催おめでとうございます。駐日英国大使のジュリア・ロングボトムです。多くの皆さまと同じく、私もLGBT+コミュニティーのアライの一人です。結婚やシビルパートナーシップを選択する同性カップルが増えている英国は、日本を含む世界中のLGBT+の人々が同じ権利を享受し、誰もが自分らしく生きられるような社会創りを目指しています。

Congratulations on holding the Sapporo Rainbow Pride 2021. My name is Julia Longbottom, one of many allies of LGBT+ community. In the UK, more and more same-sex couples are choosing civil partnership or marriages. And we are trying to build a society where LGBT+ people can be themselves in all parts of their lives. The UK is proud of supporting equality for all including LGBT+ people in Japan and the world.
