このたび頂いたメッセージを紹介します。

駐日アルゼンチン共和国大使として、第21回さっぽろレインボープライド2021の開催に際し、実行委員会の皆様に心よりお祝いを申し上げます。

母国アルゼンチンは、LGBTIQ+の権利の促進と保護について先進的な国の一つで、この原則は、我が国の内政及び外交政策の根幹となる価値観となっています。我が国では、2010年に同性婚が合法化され、2012年には、性同一性法が可決されました。最近では、公的機関におけるトランスジェンダー人材の雇用枠が設けられました。

こうした成果はひとえに、排除や差別のない平等な社会の実現と権利の拡大を着実に推進してきたアルゼンチン市民社会の歴史的活動の賜物です。

第21回さっぽろレインボープライド2021の成功と、誰も置き去りにならない、より良い社会の創造を目指す皆様の益々のご活躍を祈念しております。

As the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Japan, I would like to congratulate the Organizing Committee on the occasion of the 21st SAPPORO RAINBOW PRIDE 2021.

Argentina is one of the leading countries in the promotion and protection of LGBTIQ+ rights and these principles are core values of our national and foreign policy. Same-sex marriage was legalized in 2010, the Gender Identity Law was passed in 2012 and more recently an employment quota for transgender people in the public sector was established.

This is largely the result of the historical activism of Argentine civil society, which has steadily promoted an agenda of equality and expansion of rights, without exclusions or discrimination.

We wish the 21st SAPPORO RAINBOW PRIDE 2021 every success in fulfilling these goals that aims to the creation of a better society for us all, leaving no one behind.
